5 Bulbs to Plant Now for Spring

It’s not too late to get planting for 2021, investing a little time now will make your garden bloom come springtime. Here are a few ideas to get you inspired:

1. Tulips - so many colours and varieties you’ll be spoilt for choice. Beautiful for cutting to display in the house too.
   
2. Iris - Iris reticulata is a dwarf early flowering iris with a lovely scent. Long flowering too!
   
3. Crocus - tommasinianus is also an early flowering bulb. Such a cute little flower that will pop up while it’s still chilly.
   
4. Daffodils - would it even be spring without these? The most cheerful flower, but did you know there are over 13,000 distinct varieties of them?
   
5. Grape hyacinths - not to be confused with hyacinths, these are much smaller and grow in wee clusters. Perfect for decorating the edges of the garden.
